3. Can a student use a picture from the Smithsonian museum in their report? Yes because if the Smithsonian has granted permisson to the students to use there photgraphs for there reports.

Attribution is when you give cedit to a person for there idea.
5. Can I show everyone my school project by putting it on a web page?
Maybe?Maybe Not? depends on you if yu want to show your work or not.
6. Does it matter how much of a song or video I use in my work?
Yes it does matter you can use up too 10 percent,no more than 30 seconds

Yes the public has the right to use music and art.

Public domain is when somethins is public has no copyright.

Citing a sources is a little like giving an award. How would you feel if some one else got credit for something you had done?
I would feel like like i did the work for no reason because i wrote it an the other person steals my ideas an get reward i wont feel happy.

My schools policy on plagiarism is that if you plagiarize you will not recieve credit for it thats it always good to cite the right website were you got your information from. The consequences of plagiarizing is you could get arrest if you were caught.Plagiarizing makes no sense cant you come up with your own work.
